Capped off a Letterboxing weekend by hunting through out the Vienna
area. Weather looked a little iffy, but we decided the worse that
could happen was we got a little wet. Successfully dodged the small
showers and picked up 8 boxes. We go In the Park #1 & #3 (didn't look
for #2 as it has been reported missing). Also found all five of the
Dead Authors. What a great narrative for the clue. I think we were
the first to find box #3. We finished the day by tracking down The
Mole. All the boxes are in great shape.
We also picked up another exchange (Hi Lauren). This has got to be
one of the best past times ever!!!!!

Hey Plain & Peanut -
Thanks for the report. Of the 8 boxes, 7 are mine! I'm so glad you
found all the Dead Authors because I thought I was going to have to
rewrite the clues to #3 and #4. You've proved these boxes are
findable so the other folks who couldn't find them the first time
should try, try again.

Dead Authors #3 was definately the most challenganging to find, but we
are a group that does not accept defeat easily.

Tried to find #3 Nottoway Park in Vienna with no luck today. Found
nothing to match directions except two entraces to a bike trail,
neither of which seemed right. But we were in a hurry so we will try
again.

Thanks for looking for out new box! Did you catch the start of the movie on
TV last night? The park looks quite different. They have widened and
improved all the paths. It used to be more of a cow path park (for very
skinny cows, now it's great for strollers and bikes! BeMa
